There are plenty of teams that have a great chance to end up playing for a Super Bowl crown at the end of the season.  However, only two can make it.  Which two teams will play in Super Bowl XLVII?

It's really difficult to make a stupid Super Bowl prediction.  If you look at the six NFC playoff teams from last year (GB, SF, NO, NYG, ATL, DET), it wouldn't shock me if any of those teams ended up making it to the Super Bowl this season.  You could add non-playoff teams from last year (PHI, DAL, CHI) to this list of possible Super Bowl teams this season and I wouldn't call you crazy.

With that being said, it's time to cut the chit chat.  It's Super Bowl prediction time.  In the AFC, I like the Baltimore Ravens.  They were a Lee Evans touchdown reception away from a Super Bowl berth last season.  Joe Flacco is not a top-5 quarterback, but he continues to improve.  Also, Eli Manning wasn't thought to be a top-5 QB heading into last season either.  How'd that work out for the G-Men?  Quite nicely.

In the NFC, I like the Atlanta Falcons.  Their offense should be explosive with Roddy White and Julio Jones at wide receiver.  Their defense is good and the division is up for grabs after Roger Goodell lowered the boom on the New Orleans Saints following Bounty-Gate.  If the Falcons win the division and earn a bye, they'd have to win two games to make it to the Super Bowl.  Impossible?  Hardly.  I'll take the Ravens to beat the Falcons in Super Bowl XLVII.  What do you say?
