The Class B playoffs took full stride last night, with most of the results going as expected. However, 14th-seeded Hudson did pull the upset of third-seeded Cohoes in the most exciting game of the night.

On the C side, just three games, and in Class D, just one.

Class B:

No. 14 Hudson 58, No. 3 Cohoes 57: The only upset on the B schedule last night, Gerell Young hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give Hudson the big victory.

No. 1 Voorhesville 65, No. 16 Stillwater 37: No surprise here. The Blackbirds got 28 points from Logan Hotaling and 12 from Noah Crawford in the win.

No. 2 Hoosick Falls 73, No. 15 Coxsackie-Athens 28: Five players scored in double figures as the two seed cruised past Coxsackie.

No. 4 Mekeel Christian 53, No. 13 Fonda 41: Mano Senthil scored 27 points and Marquan Newman had 16 rebounds in the win.

No. 5 Mechanicville 62, No. 12 Johnstown 50: Logan Polsinello scored 25 for the Red Raiders and Mike Cannizzo had 15. Johnstown only shot eight free throws for the game.

No. 6 Broadalbin-Perth 63, No. 11 Schuylerville 56: BP got 31 from Andre Taylor, who had three triples and ten free throws in the win.

No. 8 Catskill 56, No. 9 Watervliet 48: Daniel Greene had 21 and Derrick Heath had 15 for Catskill. ‘Vliet fell despite getting three players in double-figures.

Class C:

No. 4 Greenwich downed Fort Plain 69-41 after John Stewart scored 20 points while No. 5 Waterford dropped Schoharie by 10 on the shoulders of 26 points from Josh Orton. No. 8 Canajoharie topped Berlin by three, 64-61.

Class D:

Northville beat Loudonville Christian, 58-31. Northville got 23 from Nick Jonas.
