UAlbany and Our Own Brady Farkas Featured on ESPN.com (VIDEO)

Well, we always make a big deal when a Capital Region athlete or Capital Region team is featured on ESPN.

Well, how about a Capital Region broadcaster? That's right, I was semi-featured on a ESPN.com video!

ESPN was recounting some of the top marriage proposals in the sporting world in 2015, most of which were athletes who proposed on the field of competition. But there was also the story of two UAlbany products who became engaged on the field at Bob Ford Field during a UAlbany football game.

I also serve as the on-field announcer at UAlbany and I got to help lead the proposal - and had to play the part of not letting the big surprise slip!

She said yes so it was a good day all around - despite the massive rainstorm that ensued.

Regardless of my small part, it was cool to see UAlbany featured in an ESPN montage!
