UAlbany Football Ranks In Preseason Top 25

The 2019 season for the UAlbany Great Danes football program was one of the best in school history. This year's version of the Great Danes are not even on campus, but they are already receiving preseason recognition. In the recent HEROS Top 25 FCS preseason poll, the Great Danes ranked 24th overall. The 2019 Great Danes finished 9-5 while qualifying for a bid to the NCAA FCS tournament and hosting a home playoff game against Central Connecticut State. After the win, UAlbany's season ended against Montana State. The complete top twenty five is below.
