Not to be outdone by the UAlbany men, the Great Dane women also advanced to the America East final on Sunday. UAlbany beat UMBC, 66-37, to advance to their fourth straight conference title game.

And because No. 1 Maine lost to fifth-seeded Hartford, UAlbany will get to host the title game on Friday afternoon against Hartford. The Danes are now 23-8.

The Danes out-rebounded the Retrievers 50-30 and forced 22 turnovers.

UAlbany's defense was key -- they held UMBC to just nine first-half points.
