Was The NY Jets Loss On Sunday QB Zach Wilson’s Fault Or Not?
Sunday was ugly if you were a New York Jet fan. The Dall Cowboys destroyed them in all three phases and it further proves how this is going to be a very long season for the Jets. Coach Saleh did not have a good game plan at all as they barely ran the football. They also set up their young second year quarterback Zach Wilson to fail against an elite defense. Below is my quick take on this as seen in the Times Union:
I don’t blame the New York Jets 30-10 loss at Dallas solely on quarterback Zach Wilson. Wilson threw three interceptions and was not good but neither was the game plan by Head Coach Robert Saleh. Why didn't they run the ball more and why did Breece Hall only have four carriers? But my biggest takeaway was how the Jets defense got exposed and it's a defense that's supposed to be one of the best in the NFL. Dallas outplayed and out coached the Jets, who known turn their attention to the 0-2 New England Patriots on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Obviously losing a guy like Aaron Rodgers really hurts you but there needs to be a better game plan moving forward with this team. You have to make Zach Wilson more comfortable back there in the pocket. The offensive line has to be better and has really struggled. Next up for the Jets is the Patriots which will be a tough game in the AFC East with the loser going to 0-3 overall to start the season.
