Will RB Saquon Barkley Be Back With The New York Giants In 2023?
The Giants have several offseason contracts to take care of. Like I discussed yesterday, Daniel Jones is at the top of that list, but so is Saquon Barkley. The Giants have to lock up the star running back who is coming off of the best year of his career. Saquon is so dangerous because he is dual threat, meaning he not only can run the ball but can also catch the ball out of the backfield. Unlike the Daniel Jones contract negotiations, there seems to be some hesitation and cold feet with Saquon as he is going to want a lot of money, most likely in the ballpark of $15 or $16 million where guys like McCaffrey or Zeke are getting.

Saquon is the best player on the field when he is healthy for the Giants. He has the ability to take over a game with an explosive run or catch a pass and take off. He is also very good after contact as he's one of the more physical running backs in the league. The problem then becomes dealing with all of the other free agents and contracts after Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley have hopefully been signed.
MJ and I had on our good New York Giants beat writer for the New York Post on with us earlier this morning right here on Big Board Sports. Paul also thinks that the Giants will most likely have Saquon back in 2023, but there is a chance he may not be back. Below is our full interview with him.
I really hope the Giants land both Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley as it will make them so much better in the long run.
