The Tri City Valleycats have had a very good season so far in the Frontier League.  As of Wednesday morning, they are 53-37 overall and are in the third and final playoff spot in the Eastern Division.  They are only one game clear of the fourth place New York Boulders.  The Cats have five games to go and have not lost a home series all year.  However they are currently down 0-1 in their current series vs the Quebec Capitales.  They must win this series to keep the streak alive and continue to play well in these must win games.  Multiple guys are stepping up in all phases and manager Pete Incaviglia has his team playing their best baseball when it matters most.  Both Pete and general manager Matt Callahan have been on with us every Wednesday right here on Big Board Sports.  They both are proud of this team and know that these games coming up are huge to get into the playoffs.

I am really confident that the Valleycats will make some noise and contend for a Frontier League championship this year.  The crowds have been awesome all season long at Joe Bruno Stadium and I have thoroughly enjoyed my Rodg on the roads there.  The fans are into it and Pete Incaviglia has told MJ and I many times that his players feed off of the crowds energy.  Rick Murphy and Matt Callahan do such a good job with everything revolving around the Cats.  They put fans in the seats and this season especially the players are putting on a show for everyone.
