A popular restaurant visited by Saratoga racing fans has been in the news for different reasons this past week. Days ago, Saratoga Living reported that Siro's would not open for business this summer, according to the original report general manager Michael Stone said the following:

“Social distancing, incorporated with the lack of fans, is just not going to enable us to be economically viable to open, “I’m sure we’re not the only ones—we’re all in uncharted waters.

Just days later, Siro's owner Scott Solomon said this according to a story on ABC 10. Stone said

Siro's has been a staple for racing fans since it opened in 1945.
