A day after being let go from the New York Yankees training facility, Aroldis Chapman addressed the media on his recent domestic violence allegations.

"I never hurt anybody," Chapman told Brendan Kuty of NJ Advance Media. "Never in my life."The allegations against the closer consist of him chocking his wife, and then shooting multiple shots off in his own garage while a baby was in the household. "That's not my character or the person I am." Chapman told reports.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is set to make a ruling this week on all the leagues DV incidents from the off-season. Chapman has told the media that he is set appeal the decision no matter what the results are.
