Earlier today on Levack and Goz, the guys were joined by a former Yankees player and current Pulaski Yankees coach Dan Fiorito. Fiorito spent four seasons as a player in the New York Yankees farm system including stints with Single A Tampa, Double AA Trenton and AAA Scranton Wilkes Barre. Fiorito discussed his journey from being a born and raised Yankees fan from Yonkers, to becoming a Division three baseball player at Manhattanville, to signing with the Yankees as an undrafted free agent. Plus what were current major leaguers Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez like as teammates in the minor leagues? Derek Jeter once spend time rehabbing during Fiorito's tenure with the Yankees. What were his biggest takeaways from that experience with the Yankee legend? Before Fiorito signed with the Yankees, he played his summer baseball with the Syracuse Salt Cats of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. Below is a link to this year's Syracuse Salt Cats schedule and the whole interview with Yankees coach Dan Fiorito.
