Love or hate Lebron James, the guy has some serious skills when it comes to basketball.  John Lucas of the Chicago Bulls learned that first hand when James jumped over him to complete the Alley-Oop from Dwyane Wade.  It just gives more proof that the guy might not be human.  What an amazing play that few players could pull off.

From the here we go again department-good heavens- is Lebron unhappy in Miami and ready to opt out of his contract after the 2014 season, Oh please please say it isn't so! The rumors are bubbling that Lebron James isn't thrilled with all aspects of playing for the Heat, namely VP-GM and the man who basically runs the club Pat Reilly...

Big performances by Dwyane Wade and Lebron James made things very difficult for the New York Knicks last night as the Heat beat them 99-89.

LeBron James had a fantastic game against the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day.  That didn't prevent King James from getting heckled by a drunk Santa Claus though.

Miami Heat owner Micky Arison may regret taking to twitter to sound off about the NBA lockout, because he is now being fined $500,000.

Shaq has officially retired from the NBA and is going to be starting a career as a TV analyst for basketball.  In an interview yesterday he said that Miami's Big 2 got beat by Dallas.  Looks like Superman isn't a big fan of Chris Bosh.

The Mavericks sent the Heat packing Sunday night and won their first NBA Championship.  There's a lot there to break down.  But I choose to focus on what happened after the game; when "King" James took to the podium and firmly planted his foot square in his mouth (This is the second edition of my will be running column "Whaaaa?"  To check out the first, click here).

The Dallas Maverick's beat the Heat going away Sunday night to capture their first NBA title.  It's left a lot of people wondering how they did it.  To me, it comes down to one thing, and it's something I've said before.  In crunch time: take a TEAM over a collection of talent.

Now that the entire country is celebrating the Dallas Mavericks win over the Heat in the NBA Finals, let's all try and take a deep breath and realize what really happened. Yes, LeBron James didn't play well.  But that wasn't the real reason for Dallas' win.

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Sunday 105-95 in Miami. It's the first ever NBA title for the Mavs. How did the Mavs win the title? What's next for LeBron and the Heat?

After losing the last two games in the NBA Finals and falling behind in the series 3 games to 2, I really think the Miami Heat have an even bigger issue than LeBron James not showing up in the 4th quarter. Their lack of depth is finally catching up with them.

The Dallas Mavericks are closer to winning an NBA championship than they ever have been before. They lead the series 3-2 heading back to Miami for games 6 and 7.
