Fans of Section 2 high school basketball here in the Capital Region have known for some time now that Shenendehowa graduate, Kevin Huerter, is the real deal. Now it's time for fans of college basketball nationally to catch on. This past week Huerter expedited that process when he had a game saving block at the buzzer to preserve a huge 76-75 win on the road at Georgetown. The Terrapin freshman is known mostly for his outside shooting, but it was his length and defensive prowess that truly thrust him into the national spotlight for the first time.
