I realize no one is happy the world of sports was forced to shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic but when you see what Reilly O'Connor was doing on the field pre pandemic it makes sense he's READY to get back to work. O'Connor's offensive game was never in question but after 27 goals in 18 games during the 2018-2019, then 19 goals in the 11 games before the 2019-2020 season was halted. The man is ready to get back to work.

Reilly O'Connor was a first round pick of the Calgary Roughnecks back in 2015. After one season in Calgary, O'Connor was traded to the New England Blackwolves where he's scored 71 goals in 61 games. The best part of getting to know Reilly O'Connor is he seems like the kind of guy that's going to be very easy to cheer for. Take a listen to O'Connor below and get to know one of the Forwards for our new Albany NLL team.

I think it's pretty awesome that so far every member of the new Albany NLL team from coach to player is more than happy to teach us about the game. It would be super easy for them to be dismissive and expect me to do so much research that I'd be left to explain the nuances of the game. Some athletes will speak over the head of anyone that isn't a diehard who knows every detail of their game. Not these guys. They want us to love lacrosse as much as they do and they'll willing to teach to get us there.
