In the opening round of the ACC tournament at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Syracuse Orange defeated the Wake Forest Demon Deacons 73-64. The Coach Jim Boeheim led Syracuse Orange now prepare for a second round match up against the North Carolina Tar Heels. The defending national champions defeated Syracuse earlier this season, 78-74 inside the Carrier Dome. Syracuse has compiled a 20-12 record this season with nine conference victories. However, losses to Boston College and Wake Forest do not work in the Orange's favor in regards to consideration by the selection committee. Below is ESPN bracket expert Joe Lunardi's projections for what teams would be in, if the NCAA tournament started today.

The question I have for Joe Lunardi is "What wins do teams like USC, UCLA, and Alabama have over Syracuse?". Depending on any major upsets in conference tournaments, I believe the Orange need this win tonight. Tip off for tonight's match up is estimated for 9pm. Will the Orange be in the Big Dance with a victory tonight? Let us know below.
