During the New York Yankees 5-1 win against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, a wacko fan ran onto the field and fist bumped Nick Swisher.  Security then pummeled the fan.

I like to call fans that run onto the field "human car wrecks."  They are like the human version of a car accident; you just can't take your eyes off of the scene.  No matter how much know you shouldn't look or don't want to look, you end up looking.  When it's a fan running on the field like a wacko, it's not like you turn to the person next to you and say, "Let me know when it's over."  If anything, you turn to the person next to you and say, "What a moron," while typically laughing as you continue to watch.

The fan in the video ran onto the field with two outs in the ninth inning during Sunday's contest between the Yankees and Tigers.  He gave right fielder Nick Swisher a fist bump before getting tackled by security.  It's not like Nick Swisher gave the type of fist bump he'd give to a long-lost friend or something.  Who can blame him?  The guy could've been a lunatic for all Nick Swisher knew.  All things considered, nobody got hurt and a fan that didn't deserve any applause got cheered like he was the best player on the field.  Oh well, that's just the way it is.
