After losing four of the last six, it's becoming more apparent what the Jets have to do in order to get defenses to continuously respect the run throughout the game.

"New England found a blueprint and got the box loaded on third down and the Jets didn't have an answer. Consecutive teams did it right after. Houston did it, and then all of a sudden the Jets were in third and long against Houston, the number one defense in the NFL with J.J. Watt.

"If they solve the first down problem, throw a little more and loosen teams up, then they have something going for them."

Watch for the Jets this Sunday to try to be more effective on first downs. It worked against the Dolphins and New York won by a margin of 38-20.
