Another night, another big game for Glens Falls native Jimmer Fredette.

Fredette scored 17 points on Sunday to help the Westchester Knicks to a 94-74 win over the Erie Bayhawks.

Jimmer went 5-12 from the floor and 2-3 from behind the three-point arc. He also hit 5-6 from the free throw line in another efficient performance. He had a +/- of 9 which means the Knicks were plus nine points when he was on the floor.

Fredette is still averaging 22.1 points per game over his 22 games with the Knicks. He's shooting 48 percent from the floor and 93 percent at the foul line.

It's hard to see the logic behind no NBA team giving Jimmer a shot yet. He's played well and has earned his stripes in the D-League. I can't quite see why an NBA team hasn't at least tendered a 10-day contract to the Capital Region star.

We will have to continue to watch and see what happens with Jimmer.
