Girard Caps Off Historic Career With Federations Championship

There will never be another high school basketball player in Section II to have the career that Joseph Girard III had at Glens Falls.
Sitting court side Sunday, I watched Girard put his team on his back to win the New York State Federation of Champions, capping off a career that will never be duplicated. Next stop Syracuse, where JG3 will be a welcome addition for head coach Jim Boeheim.
