This season I’ll be providing my own personal Top 25 poll each week during the college football season. My poll philosophy is ranking the teams I believe are the best twenty five best in the country following that given week’s games. Below are my rankings and comments about each week’ biggest shake up and changes.

1) Alabama

2) Ohio State

3) Michigan

4) Clemson

5) Washington

6) Louisville

7) Wisconsin

8) Oklahoma

9) Penn State

10) Western Michigan

11) Colorado

12) Florida

13) Oklahoma State

14) Auburn

15) USC

16) Florida State

17) Houston

18) Washington State

19) Texas A&M

20) LSU

21) Nebraska

22) Utah

23) West Virginia

24) Stanford

25) Boise State

Louisville Only to #6- The Cardinals lost by 26 points to Houston on Thursday night. Houston is also a team that has lost to Navy and SMU but has defeated Oklahoma. I can’t penalize Louisville too much by losing to a top 4 team in the country and now a top 20 team in the country. Both games were also on the road. I’ll still take Lamar Jackson in a matchup with most teams in the country.

Western Michigan Seriously in The Top 10?!- While the college football playoff committee may not be giving the Broncos from Kalamazoo much love in their rankings, I’ll continue to show them the respect they deserve. The Broncos are undefeated, and have been dominant in doing so. Besides the opening win over Northwestern, no other opponent has been within thirteen points of this team. Some 2 loss Power 5 teams are above Western Michigan but I can’t find much more to get keep this team out of my to ten.

Ohio State vs Michigan, Washington vs Washington State, Colorado vs Utah- What team can make the biggest move? A lot of huge matchups are on the way but it’s actually Oklahoma that could benefit the most. We know the winner of Michigan-Ohio State will remain in the top 4, Washington is likely to move up into the Top 4 by default, but it could actually be Oklahoma that benefits the most. The Sooners are on a bye week then get the Oklahoma State Cowboys the final weekend. It looks like the soon to be results could really benefit Coach Bob Stoops and his team.
