Shenendehowa basketball star Kevin Huerter continues to get attention almost daily. Yesterday we confirmed that Huerter had been invited to the Nike Basketball Academy, and we also learn that Huerter is now ranked No. 73 in the ESPN Top 100.

This comes from the ESPN profile:

Strengths:
Huerter is long and lean shooting guard that is extremely skilled. He is a lights out shooter off the catch and rythum dribble. He is an excellent passer with a terrific feel the game. He attacks and plays with great energy and urgency.

It's that feel for the game, ability to see the floor, mix of passing/shooting ability, and his 6'5 frame that make him so desirable.

Huerter has received more than 20 scholarship offers including schools like Syracuse, Notre Dame, Xavier, Maryland, Texas Tech, Creighton, Miami, Davidson, Siena, UAlbany, Baylor, Iowa and others.

He helped lead the Plainsmen to the Class AA state title this season and figures to return as the top player in Section II in 2015-16.
