This week's biggest story of course is the lifetime ban on  Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. I personally couldn't of been anymore happy by the way Commissioner Adam Silver handled the press conference. Silver inducted as commissioner only 88 days ago was stern  and direct to every question that was thrown his way.

Reports are out that the New York Knicks have formally tried to hire Steve Kerr as there new head coach. If I'm Carmelo Anthony this is the final straw for me in Gotham City. Kerr has no experience as a head coach and the roster you're  playing with literally can't change much due to contracts. My exit strategy is to hop on the train directly to Chi-Town and link up with former MVP Derrick Rose and Defensive Player of the Year Joakim Noah.

Quick Yankees update Michael Pineda, currently serving a 10-day suspension for using pine tar in a game against the Red Sox, pulled himself out of a simulated game in Tampa, Fla., after hurting his back and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks. Center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury was out of the lineup for Tuesday night's 6-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners, after suffering a sore left hand. X-rays came back negative Ellsbury is expected to rest the few next games.
