With several personnel losses to the Patriots this off-season, many view them as vulnerable. Have the Jets done enough this off-season to overtake New England within the division in 2015?

"I believe so," said former Jets special teams coach and ESPN New York analyst Mike Westhoff, with 'Armen and Levack', on 104.5 The Team.

"A lot of things have to happen right. Their defense has to be healthy and play at a high level. Their defensive line, with Leonard Williams and big Mo Wilkerson, they can dominate.

"The secondary is so much better. They went from last year, I would contend, the worst seconday in the NFL, to one that might have a chance to be in the top three or four.

"If you look at the pre-season game right now, they’re third in the league in giveaways / takeaways. They didn’t have enough teams to rank where they were the last couple of years, they were terrible. They’re +5, that’s a gigantic turnaround.

"I love Chris Ivory at running back and if you can run the ball a little bit with their receiving corps, Ryan Fitzpatrick can win with this football team. I firmly believe that."

The last time the Jets won the AFC East was in 2002. Since then, the Patriots have won every year except for the Dolphins in 2008.
