The New York Jets have been one of the most dysfunctional teams in the past couple years, and have received nothing but negative criticism.

Sometimes as sports journalist, fans, and players we have to decompress ourselves and look outside of the field.

Leah Still, the daughter of Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still, is recovering from surgery in which cancerous tumors were removed from her body. The NFL are doing all that they can to lift Still’s spirits and provide her with moral support. The youngster was diagnosed with neuroblastoma over the summer.

On Monday morning the Jets woke up to the usual controversy's should Rex Ryan be fired? Did Geno Smith dupe the Jets? None of that mattered to the little girl who just got out of major surgery.

After the Jets 31-17 loss to the Broncos,  the Jets did their part in trying to make a difference. The organization sent the four-year-old girl a teddy bear and balloons.

Leah received a “Frozen“-themed care package from the Texans, when the Bengals played the Patriots in Foxborough, Pats cheerleaders wore Devon Still jerseys. Patriots owner Robert Kraft also donated $25,000 to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Leah’s honor.
