Joe Cremo Takes Home Three America East Awards

UAlbany's freshman guard Joe Cremo was a big winner Monday afternoon during the American East award ceremony. The Scotia-Glenville native, won 6th Man of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and was selected to the America East All-Rookie team.He joins Jon Iati and Jamar Wilson as former America East Rookie of the Year honorees.

Cremo averaged 10.3 ppg, while shooting 52% from the field, and 44% from downtown. Cremo was named America East Rookie of the Week three times throughout the season, and will look to be UAlbany's featured player in the coming years.
