Josh Beckett dominated the Yankees during a 4-0 win by the Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball.  Boston might be turning the corner in more than one way.Josh Beckett threw eight shutout innings against the Yankees while giving up only two hits and one walk on Sunday night.  The Bronx Bombers dominated Beckett last year.  Beckett gave up nine home runs against the Yankees last season.  To provide some perspective, Beckett's teammate Clay Buchholtz only gave up nine home runs all season long in 2010.  Beckett gave up nine home runs to one single team.

This was a different Josh Beckett tonight though.  He looked healthy.  He looked dominant.  He looked like he could once again be an ace for a team who's still trying to find its sea legs.  The Red Sox improved to only 2-7 this season following their win on Sunday night.  They're currently only four games out of first place.  If Josh Beckett can maintain the form he showed tonight, that four game deficit could turn into a four game lead very quickly.
