Capital Region-Born Kahnle Goes Viral for Showing Frustration in Dugout [WATCH]
Tommy Kahnle's outing on Tuesday night certainly wasn't his best.
The 35-year old right-handed pitcher entered the game for the New York Yankees in the bottom half of the eighth inning, and retired the one batter he faced.
He returned to the mound in the bottom half of the ninth inning, and unfortunately, that was where his appearance took a turn for the worst. He walked the leadoff hitter in the inning, then gave up a ringing double, putting runners on second and third with nobody out.
He was removed from the game by Yankees' manager Aaron Boone, and when he returned to the dugout, this happened:
Yankees' fans can probably understand, and relate to, Kahnle's frustration in that situation. The team had just been blown out by the White Sox the night before, and now, Chicago had the tying run coming to the plate.

All of this was happening against a team that had the worst record in baseball, and that might end up being the worst team of all-time by season's end.
Luckily for Kahnle, the Yankees and the innocent trash can, Jake Cousins cleaned up the mess and recorded his first save of the season. New York won the game, and Kahnle was off the hook.
He and the Yankees look for the series victory against the White Sox on Wednesday night.
