The Sacramento Kings were able to beat the New York Knicks in style on Friday night thanks to a game-winning shot by power forward James Johnson.

The New York Knicks battled all of the way back from a 27-point deficit to take the lead against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.  The Knicks actually held a four-point lead with one minute to play.  Two free throws by Isaiah Thomas cut the deficit to 105-103 for the Kings.  Then, James Johnson drained a 3-pointer as time expired.

James Johnson isn’t exactly a household name.  ESPN’s Adnan Virk & John Buccigross were trying to figure out who the heck James Johnson was when they were watching the replay live on SportsCenter.  Johnson is in his fourth season out of Wake Forest.  He played for the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors before joining the Kings this season.
