Just like Indianapolis Colts quarterback Phillip Rivers (pictured above) I had a rough week one to the NFL season. Rivers threw two costly interceptions on his way to being outdueled by Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew. An upset that ended MANY survivor pools for NFL fans everywhere. Just like Rivers, I couldn't win either. I went 0 - 3 to start the season and now I shall look to rebound in week two.

Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles -1

This game opened with the Eagles as a 4.5 favorite at most books and was quickly bet down following the performances of both the Eagles and Rams last weekend. I think this is a sign of serious week one overreaction. Eagles are not as bad as they appeared when they fell the "The Team With No Name" and the Rams had everything go there way including stupid calls from Cowboys' Head Coach Mike McCarthy. Look for the Eagles to rebound and win over the Rams.

Eagles - 1

Minnesota Vikings at Indianapolis Colts - 3

Remember last week when Rivers threw two costly interceptions against the Jags and the Vikings secondary got touched by future Holl of Fame QB Aaron Rodgers? I see one of those trends continuing, I expect potential Hall of Fame QB Phillip Rivers to continue to throw picks! The Vikings defense isn't great anymore but they're good enough to beat any offense led by Rivers.

Vikings + 3

New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks - 4

The Patriots looked great last week beating up on a young Miami Dolphins team. The Seahawks looked even better taking out the Atlanta Falcons. The Seahawks are one of if not the best teams in the NFL. I expect Jamal Adams to truly enjoy going up against the Pats with enough talent around him to win for once. This one could get ugly early!
