Very plain week last week let's get crazy with this week's picks. 

NYJ + 1 at home versus the Denver Broncos. Look the Broncos defense is for real but so are the Jets...at least they will be against a Broncos offense lead by a cast of unknowns with a propensity to turn the ball over. I expect this to look a lot like the way the defense played against Detroit in week one. Look for the Jets defense to be the difference and I’ll take Gang Green at home + 1

The Oakland Raiders have shown glimpses of being a decent if not good football team this year...sadly they’ve also shown the opposite to be true at times as well. I expect a solid game plan from Gruden and the Raiders especially on offense the defense gets corner Daryl Worely back this week and even though RT Donald PEnn is out I like Beast Mode to shorten the game. Put that together with Vegas betting the number down from 7 to 5 and I’ll take the Silver and Black + 5 in LA.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Rams are currently the best team in football but 7 points and a Seattle team that plays far better at home than on the road makes me think this could be a good time to back the home dog...or home bird as the case may be. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks will keep this closer than you think. Seahawks + 7
