Chad Brown continues to have success on the highest stages of the sport of horse racing. Brown brought a strong contingent of horses to Santa Anita for the Breeders Cup and left with three wins and a second when the weekend ended.

Brown first of his three wins came in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf on Friday. He saddled Structor, who paid $12.60 for a $2 win bet and gave Brown his first win in the Juvenile Turf.

Brown turned to Saturday with plenty of chances for a victory. After Sister Charlie finished second in the Filly and Mare Turf, Brown got his second victory when his filly Uni (GB) beat the boys in the Breeders Cup Mile. Uni paid $9.20 to win as fellow filly in the race Got Stormy finished second and Brown's other horse Without Parole ran third.

Finally, Brown turned to his turf monster Bricks and Mortar in the Breeders Cup Turf. With horse of the year implications on the line, Bricks and Mortar romped home for his sixth victory of the year.

In 2019, Bricks and Mortar won five Grade 1 races and a Grade 2 stakes at six different tracks at distances ranging from 1 1/8 miles to 1 1/2 miles.

Chad Brown could be well on his way to yet another Eclipse award for top trainer this season. The Eclipse awards are in January and Brown will be there waiting for yet another award.
