More on UAlbany’s Signing of J.P. Honsinger

This week, UAlbany Basketball made national news when they signed 11-year-old Clifton Park native J.P. Honsinger to a national letter of intent.

Honsinger, who is battling a rare disease known as Niemann-Pick disease Type C, or childhood Alzheimers,. was one of three Great Danes commits to sign on to play for coach Will Brown.

On Friday, new UA Athletic Director Mark Benson joined Brady Farkas to talk about how the idea to sign J.P. came about and other great things that Albany is doing for the community.
