After Vino Rosso and Code of Honor crossed the wire in the Jockey Club Gold Cup, many believed that yet another decision by the stewards would decide a Grade 1 race.

Vino Rosso crossed the wire first but was disqualified and placed second behind Code of Honor, which would be Code of Honor's second Grade 1 victory in as many starts after his win in the Grade 1 Travers in August.
