Ohio State scored their first points of the 2012 college football season in style on Saturday against Miami (OH) thanks to wide receiver Devin Smith.

This is a fantastic grab by Ohio State wide receiver Devin Smith out of Massillon, OH.  He made this sick catch during Ohio State's 56-10 drubbing on Miami (OH) on Saturday.  The Urban Meyer era got off to a great start thanks in part by this one-handed grab by Devin Smith.

Sure, the "Catch of the Year" call was ridiculous considering that this was the first college football weekend of the season.  That's like saying, "This is the best movie of the year, but I've only seen the first 20 minutes so far."  Although the play-by-play call wasn't on point, Devin Smith made arguably the best play of the weekend.
