The 11th overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft has been released by the Tamp Bay Buccaneers for a "Lack of hustle" but should the New York teams give him a second chance? Vernon Hargreaves was projected to be one of the best Cornerbacks in the 2016 Draft which is why Tampa Bay took him with the 11th pick of the first round. Head Coach Bruce Arians benched Hargreaves for a pretty clear lack of hustle. Would he still be an improvement to the Jets or Giants?

It's always tough to see through the potential issues a player might have with a coaching staff or system and give them a second chance but I think either the Jets or Giants should attempt to add Hargreaves. The Giants passed on Hargreaves and took Eli Apple in 2016 but that was clearly a mistake and not this front office. Leaving the door wide open to at least consider adding him for Big Blue. The Jets are currently dealing with so many injuries to their secondary they'd be crazy to not go get Hargreaves. Not only need for the Jets but if a lack of hustle is simply a lack of motivation I trust Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will light that fire for Hargreaves.
