Sports Illustrated has released their college football preview edition this week. The college football scene kicks off later this summer and Alabama will look defend their national championship in 2016. Last year's runner up in the national title game, the Clemson Tigers check in at number two. Rounding out the top ten includes the Florida State Seminoles at number three, Michigan at four, LSU at five, Oklahoma at six, Washington at seven, Houston at eight, Ohio State at nine and Tennessee at ten. The Crimson Tide not only led the preseason poll but also had the most preseason All-Americans at four. Sports Illustrated tabbed Calvin Ridley, Cam Robinson, Jonathan Allen and Reuben Foster as the Tide's representatives on the All-American team.  Sports Ilustrated did not name a preseason Heisman trophy favorite but they did run features on top tier players this season. Included in the mix was Houston quarterback Greg Ward Jr, Michigan linebacker Jabrill Peppers, and UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen.
