Lacrosse Magazine announced its All-Americans on Thursday, and at the forefront, to no surprise, was UAlbany attack Lyle Thompson.

The senior, who leaves college lacrosse as the sports all-time leading scorer (400 points), led Division I in scoring this season with 121 points.

He won the Tewaaraton Award for the second consecutive this year. The award is given to the top player in the country.

Thompson scored multiple points in every UAlbany game this season. The Great Danes advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA tournament before falling to Notre Dame.

Thompson also earned USILA All-America honors.
