UAlbany QB Undercuffler Named CAA Co-Offensive Player Of The Week
After the first road win in over two years for the UAlbany football team, redshirt freshman quarterback Jeff Undercuffler has been named CAA's co-Offensive Player of the Week. Undercuffler shared the weekly award with Elon’s Davis Cheek, who was 22-of-25 for 259 yards and a TD in a 42-7 win over No. 15 Delaware.
Undercuffler's magical season continued on Sunday, he completed 23-of-30 passes with two touchdowns for 380 yards, the second-highest single-game total in program history. He already had tied the program record earlier this season when he threw for 396 yards at Monmouth.
Undercuffler, now has 20 touchdown passes, the second most in all of FCS. He’s also averaging 268.7 yards per game, the third most in the CAA.
UAlbany last road win came on September 9th, 2017 against Morgan State in a 26-0 non-conference win.
