It’s a little too late for Jets head coach Adam Gase to admit he’s not done a good job helping quarterback Sam Darnold reach his potential. Darnold is 2 years into the process, and he’s shown very little progress and growth. If anything, you can say he’s gotten worse in year two under Gase. Gase is a former quarterback coach whose is supposed to be an offensive genius. Jets fans have seen none of that, and they aren’t going too. Not until the Jets fire Gase, get a new head coach and draft Clemson phenom quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Then maybe, just maybe, there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
