The NBA offseason has been wild so far and is well under way.  So many teams have been making trades and moves to improve their rosters overall.  The New York Knicks landed Mikal Bridges which is a great move as it is another guy from Villanova who will help support Jalen Brunson and company.  They also signed OG Anunoby for the long term which was a smart move.  The Knicks were 26-5 with OG on the floor since they acquired him but he has had a tendency in the past to miss some games due to injuries including this past season.  And the Boston Celtics have just locked up their star Jayson Tatum.  The East will still run through Boston for years to come here.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

The Boston Celtics have become the model franchise in the NBA a franchise all others including the New York Knicks should duplicate. The latest is a Supermax contract for Jayson Tatum to the tune of $314 million for five years a year after they locked up his teammate Jaylen Brown to a $304 million deal. Too say the Celtics are built for the long haul would be an understatement.

The Knicks are going to be legit in the East but won't be as talented as the Celtics that is a given.  I am very curious to see where our local product from Clifton Park Kevin Huerter winds up as well.
