Wincowski Goes For Jimmer’s Record Tonight

Lake George senior star Joel Wincowski can capture the all-time Section II scoring record tonight when the Warriors host Maple Hill in their first game of the Class C sectionals.

Wincowski, the UMBC-bound scorer, is just 20 points away from tying Jimmer Fredette's record of 2,404 career points.

He leads the entire section in scoring at 34.8 points per game this season. He's also first in total points (661) and field goals (246).

Tip-off is 7:30 p.m. at Lake George.

Maple Hill defeated Scoharie in one of the Class C play-in games.
