With Cliff Lee no longer being a sure thing for the Yankees, general manager Brian Cashman had a long meeting with Carl Crawford and his representatives Tuesday night.

If all of the pieces fall into place with Cliff Lee going elsewhere and Carl Crawford joining the Yankees, what does this mean for an already crowded outfield in the Bronx? You have a former All-Star center-fielder in Curtis Granderson, a right-fielder coming off a career year in Nick Swisher, and a left-fielder with speed in Brett Gardner.

Yankee fans, it can only mean 1 thing: if Cliff Lee slips away and Carl Crawford comes to the Bronx, expect Brett Gardner to be in a package deal for Zach Greinke of the Royals.
