An ugly fight broke out at the conclusion of Notre Dame’s win over St. John’s on Tuesday night.  Punches were thrown and landed.

Basketball players are not exactly known as the best fighters on the planet.  There have been hundreds of “fights” in basketball games throughout the years that have resulted in players simply punching air instead of body parts.  Unfortunately, this fight between St. John’s and Notre Dame was actually legit.

St. John’s sophomore Sir’Dominic Pointer clobbered Notre Dame freshman Cameron Biedscheid with a few punches.  The two got tangled up at the end of Notre Dame’s 66-40 victory over the Johnnies.  It was an ugly scene on senior night for the Irish.  Both players will be automatically suspended for the next game.  Pointer could miss even more time.
