Former Shen Standout Named 2nd Team All NBA Rookie Team

A former Capital Region standout was recognized by the NBA earlier this week. Shenendehowa graduate Kevin Huerter received 2nd team All NBA rookie team honors.

2018-19 NBA 2nd Team All Rookie 

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LA Clippers

Collin Sexton, Cleveland Cavaliers

Landry Shamet, LA Clippers

Mitchell Robinson, New York Knicks

Kevin Huerter, Atlanta Hawks

For me, second team seemed just right. The above candidates had stronger seasons than Huerter and statistically were either better or close to Huerter's stats.
