Great Danes Will Meet Familiar Face In Opening Round Of FCS Playo

Greg Gattuso has the UAlbany football program in the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2011, and the Great Danes will be a tough out. It’s a senior laden team with a young quarterback in Jeff Undercuffler whose had an eye popping season. And how ironic is it, that their first round opponent is against Central Connecticut State and former UAlbany offensive coordinator Ryan McCarthy. McCarthy led the Blue Devils to an 11-1 record in his first season.
