Historic Troy Bowling Alley Destroyed In Three Alarm Fire

On the Facebook page of a historic and popular bowling, thank you's are posted to the firefighters for their brave efforts, and the local community for their support  following a fire that blazed through parts of Troy this morning. While everyone is thankfully safe, this fire marks the devastating end of an era for a place that was home for good times and good friends.

According to CBS 6 News, a large fire swept through parts of Troy this morning engulfing area garages as well as the popular Alpha Lanes Bowling Alley located on 5th Avenue in Troy.

According to the report, the fire had a rather lengthy head start before crews could start battling it, leading to some potentially tense moments as the large fire swept through parts of Troy.  As of now, there are no reported injuries.
