Winker was hitting .257/.374/.419 with 11 home runs and 14 stolen bases at the time of the trade. New York is hoping that he can find the magic that he had during the 2021 season, when he hit .305/.394/.556 in 110 games with the Cincinnati Reds.

The MLB Trade Deadline is Tuesday, July 30th at 6PM.
