Earlier this evening, the NBA conducted their annual draft lottery to determine the top three picks in the 2017 draft. The New York Knicks entered the evening with a 5.3 percent chance to earn the number one overall selection and an 18.3 percent chance of being selected with a top three overall pick. The Knicks' odds ranked as the seventh best of any franchise in the NBA. Instead the Knicks ended up securing the eight overall pick in the NBA Draft. The Knicks originally were projected to have the seventh overall selection but a trade from 2015 involving the Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers bumped the Knicks down one .spot Below is the entire order of the first fourteen picks. The rest of the draft order will be determined at the end of the playoffs. The Knicks will enter the 2017 draft with two second round picks as well. What player should the Knicks draft?
