Kevin Smith made his major league debut this season and has been through a lot to get there. What better way to unwind after a long year than to come home to the Capital Region and then jump on Big Board Sports for an hour. We have split up the segments to one above and one below and there is a lot of good stuff in there. What was it like making his debut? Has Kevin ever faced Ian Anderson? How does he view his future and the future of this talented Toronto Blue Jays team? Kevin is still the same kid that I knew before he went to Maryland and the hour flew by. Make sure to listen!

The best rookie quarterback in the NFL is Mac Jones of the New England Patriots, and he’s only going to get better. Jones is poised, does not get rattled, and you can tell he  played at the highest level at Alabama under Nick Saban. Jones and the Patriots should roll past the Jets on Sunday, which would give New England its first home win of the season. Patriots have plenty of work to do, but at least they have their quarterback of the future in Jones. For the second time this season, and one of many assumingly of their careers, he will face Zach Wilson who is coming off a BYE week with the Jets. Wilson is more of a Wild Card at the moment and it will be interesting to see if he plays any different after reflecting on trying to aim his throws too much in the first 5 weeks.
