Should The Knicks Trade For Russell Westbrook?

As Chris Onorato pointed out earlier this month in his article on 1045theteam.com, the league dynamics have shifted because of the events of this summer in the NBA. Who is the favorite to win the 2020 championship? The Lakers? The Clippers? The Warriors? One trade involving a league All-star and former MVP  may still have involve the New York Knicks.

Sports Illustrated Michael Shapiro described the potential of a Knicks trade in his recent article on si.com

The Knicks could also eventually dangle their recent free–agent acquisitions including Julius Randle and Bobby Portis. The slate of two-year contracts added to the roster should give New York plenty of flexibility should the Knicks wish to make a superstar deal.
